Volunteer Meet-Ups are designed to create spaces for volunteers to celebrate, connect with the community, and collect stories. They are social events with conversation guided by a facilitator. Meet-Ups take place on the third Wednesday of alternating months.
Due to her popularity at the ’23 national meeting, we’ve invited Lily Liu, AARP Historian Emerita, to help us facilitate the new meet-up series. We loved her inspiring presentation and she’s such a great facilitator, we know she’ll be the perfect person to help our volunteers celebrate their service and build our national community.
