Closing Components
Have students respond to the story.
- Help students make connections/application to their lives.
Close the session on a positive note.
- Review/celebrate accomplishments.
- Thank students for their participation.
- Remind students of their effort and progress through repetition.
Address any “off-topic” questions brought up earlier.

- Retell the story to a partner.
- Share your favorite part of the story and tell why.
