New Move Old Womb
- Defining the apostle must be separated from describing the function
- What the Lord wants to ignite is hindered by the old culture
- New moves are bogged down by old mindsets that must be loosened
- New ways of doing things must be embraced and established guards of the spiritual and natural that must be either transformed or displaced.
- It takes time for its change agents to be taken seriously
- Until this happens, what change agents say and do vary very little from what the masses are accustomed to over several decades
- The new move takes time to move away from its old lineages.
- Language and vernacular have yet to be devised and disseminated as forms and functions take their time.
- New words may be just that, new words that have no corresponding action.
- Old wineskins, old wine, old garments, old cloth
Second Motivating Thought
- What apostle is vs. what an apostle does
- Luke 6:13 = Jesus chose 12 disciples whom he also named “apostles.”
- Apostles = action
- Action = Praxis
- The apostle’s tile and actions must be distinguished from each other
- Apostleship definition should describe its name according to what is understood by its title
- (Why did Jesus choose the term “apostle” – when selecting the 12?) = Definition of Apostle
