3.7. Dismissal Procedures and Times

Your child’s safety is our priority. These procedures prioritize child safety over driver convenience.

Activity Bus Dismissal:

• Activity Bus riders are dismissed as their bus arrives.
• When changes are made to a student’s pick-up arrangements, the office must receive email or written notification before noon. Communication received after noon is less reliable and is not guaranteed.

Carpool Dismissal:

• Carpool riders are dismissed at 2:50 p.m.
• For student safety, we request parents/guardians remain in their cars and pull up to the front of the building for loading.
• Please display the number assigned to your family as you pull up to the loading zone to facilitate the dismissal process. Extra copies of your family’s number are available from the office.
• If your child is not outside, please circle the block to avoid blocking traffic.
• Students not picked up by 3:10 p.m. are taken to the After-School program and charged a daily fee. Registration is required within 24 hours of attending.
