Prior to ActiveControl 8.3 – the refreshing of the Dashboard and Business Task list screens within the Web UI were not automated.
This meant that if a user went in and did something like an Approval, the Dashboard screens were not automatically updated, and relied on the user hitting the refresh button in the application or in their browser.
Since some customers reported that this was causing confusion – configuration options have now been added to enable/disable this automated refresh.
Configuration Steps
In table /BTI/TE_WEBUICFG within the Domain Controller:
i) maintain ALWAYS_RELOAD_TL as an ‘X’ to auto-refresh the Task list.
ii) maintain ALWAYS_RELOAD_DB as an ‘X’ to auto-refresh the dashboard.
