Since release 6.10, it has been possible to validate the contents of a transport using Inline Risk Analysis capability in the SAPGUI. This was added in 2015 to support an object allowed lists / blocked lists capability in ActiveControl – whereby certain objects could/not be changed in certain Development environments. More recently in 2017, this Inline Risk capability was extended to support custom messaging as part of an ECC>S/4 migration.
As part of ActiveControl 8.3, a new User Exit hook is being added at the point of the Inline Risk functionailty. This is to support a specific Basis Technologies’ customer’s need to further tailor the process to their individual needs.
