ActiveControl 8.0 introduces the ability to create Custom Fields at a Project level. This functionality has been added to allow additional information to be tracked for the Project entity (typically used at most customers for their SAP Projects, or Releases) that was possible with the limited Project level standard fields.

All the usual field types (eg Text, User Selection, Dropdown etc) are available for creating custom fields at Project level. The configured Project custom fields will be seen in the Project screen in both the Windows GUI and Web UI. The fields are visible in the Build List Report and Task Status Report.

Configuration Steps

Project custom fields are configured in the Windows GUI in the same place as Business Task and Transport Form custom fields have always been created.
