You add a new key by following this procedure:

1 First you enter the company information, to where the key belongs, as well as a name for the key:

2 Define the key parameters:

Fields Description
KeyID A unique key id. Usually 16 digits for Dallas keys, and 6-8 digits for ID06.
Key is valid in The period of time, following the use of the key, where the unit can be accessed.
After this period of time the key must be used again.
Key expires The period of time, from when the unit stop working, and until it begins again. As an example; The ignition may be turned off, or the lift taken down.
After this period of time the key must be used again. For the unit(s) this key must apply to (see below), you must select either the BoomSensor or IgnitionSense functionality, in order to trigger the key expiration time. See the Sensors section for details.
Expiry date Sets the date for when the key is no longer active.
Note A text field for any comments.

3 Once the key is defined, you specify which units (and/or groups) the key should apply to.
Select these from the appropriate dropdown lists in the right hand side

4 Finally you click the Save button to store the new key.
