Google Project might prevent DCM installation on some devices as it is third party application and not from Google store. In order to install DCM, Google Protect needs to be temporarily disabled.
To disable Google Protect please follow the steps below:
- Open Google Play, select the Options menu and tap on Google Protect (1)

- Tap on the Settings icon (1)

- Disable Scan device for security threats (1)

- Once the DCM is installed, Google Protect can be enabled again. It will scan DCM assuring there are no Security threats
