Adding Detergent to the DEMI 400 Series

	Wear protective glasses.
	When working with or near detergents, always wear protective gloves.

!Do not heat or use detergent at a temperature greater than 120°F (48.9°C).

The DEMI 400 Series utilizes premixed PostProcess detergent developed for a specific print technology or application. The DEMI 400 Series has a capacity of 64 liters (17 gallons).

With the lid open, detergent is poured into the processing tank (see image below, highlighted in green). As the processing tank reaches capacity, the detergent will begin to flow through the weir wall and into the overflow tank located to the left of the processing tank.

*Once the processing tank is full, the overflow tank will operate effectively at a range of approximately 50%-80% full.
This may require manually turning on the pump to distribute the detergent and ensure it is filling up the overflow tank.

The overflow tank contains the level sensor. As the overflow tank fills, the level sensor float will rise. Verify the tank level percentage found in the Information screen. See the Infomation section for more detail.

!Detergent will evaporate over time. If the Low Tank Level warning is active, wait until the cycle ends and add detergent. Turn on the pump, and confirm the Tank Level % is between 50%-80%.
If ignored, the Low Tank Level alarm will become active and must be addressed to begin or continue processing parts.
