PDFMarkz Uninstalling the Scripts

To uninstall the PDFMarkz scripts -

1. Make sure InDesign is not running
2. Navigate to your Adobe InDesign folder
3. Navigate to the Scripts folder
4. Delete the Markzware folder
5. When you restart InDesign the scripts will no longer be available, but the Markzware Menu will still be present.

You still need to remove the Markzware Menu Item

To remove the Markzware Menu from InDesign’s Main Menu Bar

1. Download the RemoveMarkzwareMenu script
2. Open up the InDesign Scripts Window
3. Right-Click on the User folder and select Reveal in Finder
4. Move the RemoveMarkzwareMenu script into the User/Scripts Panel Folder
5. Switch back to InDesign and run the RemoveMarkzwareMenu script from the Scripts/User area of the Scripts Panel
6. The Markzware Menu will disappear

*You can also reset InDesign’s Preferences to remove the Markzware Menu. Resetting InDesign’s Preferences may be something many Users prefer not to do unless absolutely required, thus the option of running the RemoveMarkzwareMenu script.

!Although the movie shows this procedure for QXPMarkz, the process is almost the same for PDFMarkz , except you will be deleting the PDFMarkz scripts. The portion of the movie showing how to remove the Markzware menu, is the same for both PDFMarkz and QXPMarkz.
