Scrigno is a multi-property management system and, thus, a charge code that has been created is not necessarily available to all the hotels, nor does it necessarily have the same value in all the facilities that share the same platform.
For instance, the standard code ‘SBRK Breakfast surcharge’ might have a different price in each hotel, or a different VAT rate in case of international hotel groups.
This is why it is necessary to deal with this step, which is an integral part of the creation procedure of a charge code that is shown in the flow diagram in section Standard charges.

We will illustrate only the screen fields that are relevant to the specified purpose, by neglecting those useful for other objectives or realities.

Tables > Charges > Charges

  1. Search for the charge
    Select the newly created record.
  1. Select the HOTELS tab
  1. Select the needed facility
Place the cursor on the line corresponding to the hotel where you want to enable the display of the newly created code.
  1. Attach the code to the hotel
Tick the central column to attach the code to the needed hotel. After this operation has been carried out, the system summarises on the right the details already set up by the user for the code in the ‘info’ tab (for further information, see the previous paragraph Encoding a standard charge.)
  1. Specify the selling price
If the code refers to a service or product that has a selling price from the price list, insert the amount here: the detail will be proposed to the user every time during charging phase.
  1. Control the data proposed for the hotel/selected code
Verify again the previously set basic characteristics for the code in the ‘Info’ tab and, if necessary, make modifications. These modifications will only be applied to the specified hotel.
  1. Confirm the operation
Click the button or press the F10 key.
