Performing Maintenance on Battery Cabinet
Recommended Annual Cleaning
Before cleaning this equipment, disconnect EPIC Series Battery Cabinet from its power sources first.
- Do not use liquid cleaners, aerosols, abrasive pads, scouring powders, or solvents such as benzene or alcohol.
- Use soft cloth, lightly-moistened with a mild detergent solution. Let surface dry fully before reconnecting power.
At least once a year, replace the door filter to ensure an adequate supply of cooling air. If cabinet located in an extremely dusty environment, filter may need more frequent replacement.
In an extremely dusty environment (especially if airborne dust is conductive), carefully vacuum out the interior. Clean the surfaces of circuit boards, and clean around electrical terminals.
