Whats New In Version 4.5.5

Hippotizer Version 4.5.5 adds new features and functionality to V4 and V4+ systems.

• Systems currently running 4.5.1, 4.5.2, 4.5.3 or 4.5.4 should update to 4.5.5 with no programming changes.
• Systems currently running 4.5.0 should update to 4.5.4 with only potential changes to layer zoom.
• Systems currently running 4.4.X should export all programming, carry out a clean install and then import data into 4.5. Some Changes in 4.5 may require updates to programming. See the Release Notes for more information.
• Systems currently running 4.3.3 or older software must clean install 4.5.5; all existing programming and settings will be lost.

Functionality Changes In 4.5.5

• Upgraded to NDI version 4.5 for improved stability and native support for NDI-HX
• Improved EDID controls in Hippo Launcher for Nevis+
• Fixed a bug where fixtures in Pixelmapper would ‘jump’ when using the mouse to move them
• Fixed a bug where Hippotizer would not install with Prep dongles
• Improved the performance of sACN control through the DMX component.
• Fixed a bug where HippoLauncher had no scroll bars on lower resolution screens.
• Improved overall performance on Tierra+, Taiga and Taiga+ systems.

Functionality Changes In 4.5.4

• Problems with unintended fading of content have been fixed.
• ZooKeeper will now notify a user when DPI scaling is on which prevents ZooKeeper from working correctly.
• Improved support for Stream Deck in Multi Controller.
• Parameters in DMX Personality editor are now ordered by channel
• Remote updater can now install SHAPE
• Background images are now saved in VideoMapper and PixelMapper
• Importing Fixtures CSVs in PixelMapper has now been improved
• Discovery of LabJack sources in MultiController has been improved.

New Features in 4.5.3

• Added ability to see only the local host on pin selectors to speed up selection in larger networks.
• Added ability to set Zookeeper’s resource usage to ‘high’ enabling zookeeper only machines to be faster in large networks.

Functionality Changes in 4.5.3

• Multichannel audio encoding has been improved: audio with more than 2 channels can now encode alongside a clip.
• The Watermark on PLAY and PREP systems will now fade in and out.

• Added Level pin to each input into SHAPE
• Added option in SHAPE for texture mappers to ignore normals
• Added option to rename materials in SHAPE

Functionality Changes in 4.5.0 and 4.5.1

• The default Zoom range of layer Zoom now goes from 0-400% instead of 0-200%.
• When Zoom X/Y is active Zoom and Aspect are disabled.
• The range of displacement of Pos-X and Pos-Y has been increased to accommodate the additional zoom.
• The Notch parameters.txt file now only affects notch mixes
• Automation Mappings have been changed though backwards compatibility has been preserved.
• Hippotizer 4.5.0 Must run with Datapath driver version 17.19.4. This driver is now included as part of the Hippotizer Installer.
