Hippotizer Version 4.5.5 adds new features and functionality to V4 and V4+ systems.
Software Assurance The Release Date for Software Assurance of 4.5.5 is 28-Feb-2019. This version will install on all V4 and V4+ systems even if they report having expired Software Assurance. |
- Systems currently running 4.5.1, 4.5.2, 4.5.3 or 4.5.4 should update to 4.5.5 with no programming changes.
- Systems currently running 4.5.0 should update to 4.5.4 with only potential changes to layer zoom.
- Systems currently running 4.4.X should export all programming, carry out a clean install and then import data into 4.5. Some Changes in 4.5 may require updates to programming. See the Release Notes for more information.
- Systems currently running 4.3.3 or older software must clean install 4.5.5; all existing programming and settings will be lost.

- Fixed a bug where fixtures in Pixelmapper would ‘jump’ when using the mouse to move them
- Fixed a bug where Hippotizer would not install with Prep dongles
- Improved the performance of sACN control through the DMX component.
- Fixed a bug where HippoLauncher had no scroll bars on lower resolution screens.
- Improved overall performance on Tierra+, Taiga and Taiga+ systems.

- ZooKeeper will now notify a user when DPI scaling is on which prevents ZooKeeper from working correctly.

- Background images are now saved in VideoMapper and PixelMapper
- Importing Fixtures CSVs in PixelMapper has now been improved
- Discovery of LabJack sources in MultiController has been improved.

- The default Zoom range of layer Zoom now goes from 0-400% instead of 0-200%.
- When Zoom X/Y is active Zoom and Aspect are disabled.
- The range of displacement of Pos-X and Pos-Y has been increased to accommodate the additional zoom.
- The Notch parameters.txt file now only affects notch mixes
- Automation Mappings have been changed though backwards compatibility has been preserved.
- Hippotizer 4.5.0 Must run with Datapath driver version 17.19.4. This driver is now included as part of the Hippotizer Installer.
