Why Enable Log Files?

Log files record messages generated by the printer as and when events occur. Logging is disabled by default, as generating log files can hinder the performance of the printer. However, in the event of errant behavior, log files provide valuable information for troubleshooting. Log files typically make sense only to technicians specifically trained to decipher and analyze log files.

Celiveo can also generate log files for the Web Admin. Unlike log files generated by the printer, logging Web Admin events does not impede performance. As such, Web Admin logging is always enabled.
