In order to re-start the import process for an import queue after an import or system error the import status for the transport must be reset.

To do this highlight the transport and choose the Reset AC Import Status option. The transport can then be re-imported if required or marked as imported if not.

p(banner tip). As of ActiveControl 8.3, it is only possible to Reset the Import Status of an Import Queue via the Windows GUI.
