Delegation capability enables Inbox and Outbox approvers to delegate their approvals within ActiveControl. This functionality is possible within both the Windows GUI and the Web UI.
Similarly, it is possible for authorised users to ‘Force Delegation’, ie to set delegations for other users if they are off sick or on other unexpected leave.
This authorization is available in the following authorisation roles:
/BTI/TE:STD_TEAM_LEAD_AUTHS
/BTI/TE:STD_CHANGE_TEAM_AUTHS
/BTI/TE:STD_BASIS_AUTHS
/BTI/TE:STD_ADMIN_AUTHS
To be able to force delegations, you need one of the above roles, or specifically authorization object Y_TECONF with value FORCEDELEGATE.
Notes
(i) It is not possible to define Delegates on a Test Queue. This can be done by simply assigned other Testers to the Business Task.
