Release – Akkadian Contact Manager 5.1.0.15

Akkadian Contact Manager (ACM) 5.1.0.15 is a major release with upgrades to many of the core components.
This release supports direct updates from previously supported versions of 5.0 or migration upgrades from 4.0

To Perform a Migration Upgrade:

1. In the Akkadian Labs portal revoke the current ACM license activation and note the license key (ACM will continue to operate)
2. Login as gdadmin and navigate to Backup & Restore from the System menu
3. Click Generate and download backup
4. If you wish to maintain the current settings, record the hostname & IP address information
5. Power down the existing virtual machine
6. Deploy the new ACM 5.1.0.15 OVA
7. Power on the virtual machine and configure the hostname and IP address
8. Open a browser and access the new ACM server
9. Apply the license key to the system
10. Login as gdadmin and navigate to Backup & Restore from the System menu
11. Navigate to the Restore from Backup tab
12. Select the backup file and click Restore
13. The migration upgrade is now complete
