Sygic GPS Navigation app contains millions of POIs (Points of Interest), such as petrol stations, restaurants, hotels, tourist attractions and many more. Offline POI data are provided by Tomtom, on the other hand online POIs (internet connection required) consist of data from Foursquare, Tripadvisor, Viator, Booking.com and Parkopedia.
1. To search for particular POI, simply tap on Searching bar on the top of a map screen. Panel with basic POI categories (tourist attractions, accomodations, petrol stations, eating & drinking) is located under recently searched places in Search interface. Choose one of offered categories or tap on three dots on the right side to see all POI categories.
2. After choosing a desired POI category are all relevant nearby POIs dispalyed on the list. You can use also Search function to browse amongst displayed POIs.
3. Once a particular POI is chosen, Location screen with details of POI location is displayed. To navigate to selected POI simply tap Get directions button. Route or multiple alternative routes to chosen POI are highlighted on the map in blue color. Tap Start button in right upper corner to start navigating.
You can also find POIs near the specified areas. Tap anywhere on the map to select the Location info. Then choose Explore nearby to select a nearby POI.
