Using Quality Assurance and Control – Business Central
The operator can use her mobile device to take pictures of the quality assurance items. In order to do so she uses the camera on the mobile device to scan the QR code on the quality assurance page in Microsoft Business Central.
Once the QR has been scanned follow the link and your browser will open on the mobile device. The operator must login with her Microsoft credentials or choose an existing account to authenticate.
Once authenticated by Microsoft she will be prompted to open the Business Central application on the mobile device.
She will then be redirected to the Quality Assurance main screen on the mobile device. The operator then has to click the relevant quality assurance subject item in the list of items in the bottom of the screen.
Once clicked the details screen for the item will open. She can add a picture by clicking the … next to the “Add Picture” box.
This will open the Quality Assurance Item Picture screen. She must click the … in the bottom of this screen to prompt the menu to take a picture.
The picture menu opens and the operator presses “Take” to use the camera on the mobile device to take a picture of the subject item.
She now uses her camera to take the picture. If satisfactory she clicks “Use foto” otherwise she clicks “Retake” and takes another foto. Once she clicks “Use foto” the foto is added to the item in Business Central and the documentation process is done.
