To connect mobile messaging solutions (mms) infrastructure to the NICE DFO platform, use the NICE certified Bring-Your-Own-Channel (BYOC) integration.
If you need any assistance with set-up please contact the mms team and we can walk through it with you.
NICE clients can leverage BYOC to establish a two-way messaging channel that supports inbound and outbound SMS, MMS, RCS, and other mms messaging services by following the steps outlined in this document.
After the channel is set up, the client can assign individual sender IDs or “transport codes” (e.g. short codes, 10DLC, TFNs, or alphanumeric/virtual sender IDs) to the channel. These sender IDs can then be used like any other NICE messaging channel and are compatible with all NICE services available within the digital or DFO platform.
Setting up a new BYOC channel involves the following steps:
1) Setting up your BYOC integration within the NICE DFO platform (the main topic of this setup guide)
2) Providing all necessary data to the mms implementation team. (Please refer to the BYOC setup data table below for details)
3) Setting up the Transport code(s)/source number(s), associating them with your BYOC integration, This last 3rd step is done by the mms implementation team
Once the channel is set up, you can use it within DFO like any other messaging channel (e.g. by routing traffic to your agents, sending outbound campaigns, virtually any service in the NICE DFO portfolio).
