Reason for Calibration

The KAC-CAM-70 has two sensors and must be aligned one to each other.

Calibration method using remote control:

  1. Connect the CAM-70 thru USB (best is to connect to the CU-200)
  2. On the CAM-70 remote control press the “Manual Mode” button.
  3. On the remote control, press the following sequence: #*5 (to activate the picture-in-picture mode). On the screen both sensors’ pictures are presented, each has a RED cross.
  4. We shall now make both crosses point on the same object to be calibrated. Use the remote-control arrows to move the cross, until they both point to the same object.
  5. When finished calibrating, press the following sequence on the remote-control buttons: #*6 (save the calibration).

Mechanical alignment of the wide-angle sensor:

The CAM-70 has a toggle in its bottom plate, as seen in the picture below:
It controls the alignment of the wide-angle sensor (not the PTZ). By moving the toggle, you change the sensor alignment up and down as needed.
*Repeat the calibration with the remote-control. *
