9.1.2.1. Select Product

In the Select Product form, users can choose a product that is associated with or provided by the supplier.

1. Select the Product(s): This is a single-select field that retrieves the list of registered products. It is a mandatory field. It allows users to select a product by either entering its name or clicking on the arrow icon. Rather than release the standard dropdown menu, however, this arrow icon opens the following pop-up window:
   

   *Products are retrieved from the central form of the *Products application.

   • Product Name: This is a text field that allows users to filter by the name of a product.
   • Device Class: This is a text field that allows users to filter by the class or category to which a product belongs.
   • Status: This is a text field that allows users to filter by the current status of a product.
   • Version: This is a text field that allows users to filter by the version of a product.
   • Filter: This button filters the results according to the entered search criteria.
   • Clear Filter: This button clears the filters that were used in the previous search and allows users to again view the full data set.

**To select a product, users will need to double-click on it from the grid. Users will then be returned to the Select Product form where they will find the selected product now populating the Select the Product(s) field.

2. Save and Return: This button allows users to save the product selection and return to the New Supplier form.
3. Save and New: This button allows users to save the product selection and open a new window to make another selection.
