Within TE users are considered to be administrators or non-administrators.

Administrators have full access to all TE functions whereas non-administrators only have access to certain functions (see section Authorisation Control).

To enable access to TE all must have a user account setup in the domain controller system; this is required for all TE users, approvers, testers and administrators.

All must have a valid email address in order to receive email notifications.

In addition it is recommended to setup a TE Batch user for use in the email notifications and scheduled import jobs.

Finally as TE communicates with all the participating systems via RFC calls / destinations a TE RFC user will be required in all systems to support this.

Each of these users needs to be allocated to the relevant TE user role as described below.
