Benefits for Managers

For pool managers or owners, we have a host of great features to help alleviate the pre-season and weekly chores.

Staff

Our system includes the ability for you, as the “General Manager” (GM) to designate one or more players in your pool to be part of your pool’s “staff”.

You can authorize someone to be a “Head Coach” (HC) which grants them nearly all of the administrative powers that you have. GM’s and HC’s are collectively referred to as the pool managers.

A lesser authority can be granted by designating someone as a “Player Coordinator” (PC), which gives them the ability to mark people as paid, and activate their access.

If your pool has grown into the hundreds of players, being able to have some assistants help out with some of these pre-season tasks can be huge.

Options and More Options!

We offer plenty of custom pool options, including:

• Registration options to restrict who can join your pool
• Single or multiple entries per player
• Flexible pick deadlines & pool lockdown point
• Several default pick options for missed picks
• Customizing the schedule (ie, removing games from eligibility)
• Start & end week options allow you to start a pool midseason, or end one early

• Ability to designate weeks requiring multiple picks per entry
• Rebuy/reentry option for entries which are eliminated, customizable by week

Communication

We offer private discussion forums for you and your pool players to communicate among yourselves, as well as public forums for you to interact with thousands of players from other survivor pools.

We also have features such as email confirmation of picks, and 24 hour warning for missing picks.

Auditing, Reporting, Accounting

We have audit logs to track when your players sign in and make or change their picks.

We have a variety of reports that show the players, the entries, and who each entry picked each week. This is the manager’s view which includes names & email addresses.

Our scoreboard features live score updates of games in progress plus counts of entries picking each team.

A robust player administration panel handles a player’s information, as well as his/her entries. Also a simple and easy to use accounting function is available for your pool’s entry fees, if applicable.

You also have the flexibility to change or correct a pick after the fact.

Cost

There is no charge to use this site – hosting a pool here is free.

While a pool may or may not charge an entry fee to its players for participation, Zathras & Wubba’s does not charge anything to the players or to the pool for using the site or our pool system. Those entry fees, if any, are entirely between each pool and its players. Zathras & Wubba’s is not a gambling site and is not involved in collecting fees or distributing prizes for any pools hosted here.

It is entirely the responsibility of the pool owners or managers to ensure compliance with the laws governing gambling and sports pools in their area.
