Add an Orchid Recorder

This is the Add icon.

1. On the Servers screen, press the Add Orchid Recorder button to access the Register an Orchid Recorder Server screen.

2. To add a new server, enter the Orchid Recorder name and the URL.

• If the Orchid Recorder is on the same machine as Orchid Fusion VMS, the URL would be: http://localhost.
• Enter your Orchid Recorder username and password.
• Press the Register button to add the server to Orchid Hybrid VMS.

It may take a moment for Orchid Hybrid VMS to add the server successfully. When complete, the new server will appear in the list on the Servers screen. If Orchid Hybrid VMS fails to add a server, an error message will appear.

*If you attempt to add an Orchid Recorder with software older than version 2.8.0, you will receive an error like the one pictured below. You will need to upgrade the Orchid Recorder software to version 2.8.0 or greater in order to register the server.
