Darken Mode

Darken mode analyses the luminance value of each pixels RGB channels, selecting the darker of the blend layers pixels and displaying those. If the two layers have the same pixel colours then the result will show no change. Anything that is white in the blend layer will be transparent and anything darker than white will darken the base layer.
