Interrupting the submission procedure

The submission can be interrupted only at the following stages without loosing the work done:

  1. After the values on the Survey page have been given and NEXT has been pressed.
  2. After the completed upload of any of the VCF+BED, as well as after FASTQ and BAM files.

Note that both VCF and BED need to be uploaded in pair. To submit the FASTQ and or BAM after an aborted session, simply continue by uploading the missing files.

Repeating the submission procedure will replace the data

The EQA submission procedure creates a submission data set with a time stamp of the first successful submission. It is possible to update the results by repeating the submission procedure. The possibility to update is available until the scheme closes for assessment.

It is possible to modify values on the Survey page, enabling corrections and amendments. If changes are being made, there will be a new time stamp for the last modification.

Each submission will replace any data already in the database with the new data, as there can be only one data set for quality assessment. When data files are resubmitted, all compulsory files on the sample submission page have to be resubmitted.
