One of the major key enhancements delivered in 2.30 in beta release only is known as *Outbound RFC Service Virtualization”.
Service virtualization is the generic term used for substituting stubs into outbound calls typically done for testing purposes. This means that the external system does not need to exist in the test landscape during the playback. As the outbound call is made, a response is substitued immediately without allowing the call to actually go out of the system.
There are a number of advantages for doing this for testing purposes. The benefit of Testimony is that we are able to record the outbound call with its response and automatically use the same response as a substitute during the playback.
