Prerequisites

There are minimum NetWeaver versions which need to be met/exceeded for ActiveDiscover to be installed and operate are:

1. Central system – minimum NW 7.40 SP5+
2. Source and Target systems – minimum NW 7.01+
   

There are no Operating System or Database specific requirements.

*Please note that ActiveDiscover does not support non-unicode SAP systems, neither as the main Central System or as the managed Source/Target systems

*As the ActiveDiscover Dashboard uses SAPUI5 technology, the SAPUI5 Index Calculation Job must be scheduled to avoid Dashboard issues. Refer to this article for details.

* As per SAP Note 2369736 ensure the SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR job is scheduled in client 000 of all systems you intend to use as a Target for analysis.

ActiveControl Customers

If you are an existing ActiveControl customer, you must upgrade ActiveControl to version 9.40 in order to have the Web Platform available for ActiveDiscover 1.50.
