ActiveControl 7.00 introduces the capability to add new custom tabs instead of the main ‘General’ tab on the Business Task.
This was requested by a customer that uses Transport Expresso as its main change management tool and wanted to store lots of additional information to fulfil its internal processes that were not available via the TE standard fields. Presenting them on a separate tab ensures that the General tab does not become congested with fields.
The new tabs are visible in both the Windows GUI and Web UI.
Configuration Steps
Custom Tabs can be created via new Custom Tab section of the Fields tab in the TE Windows GUI configuration screens.
After creating the new custom tab, custom fields can then be assigned to the custom tab via new tab dropdown. If left blank, the custom field will appear on the ‘General’ tab by default.
