Custom Node Types can be used by customers wishing to create their own custom node types that run within the Rules Engine architecture. This is an advanced capability of the Rules Engine which Basis Technologies do not envisage many customers needing to use, given the standard /BTI/TE_RE_STEP and /BTI/TE_RE_STEPC tables should cover the vast majority of desired condition use cases.

/BTI/TE_RE_STEPT

Table /BTI/TE_RE_STEPT is an application table used by the Rules Engine. It is pre-configured with the standard classes used by the Rules Engine to perform the various functionality, and should not need to be maintained by the majority of customers. The only exception to this is for customers creating custom node types. In this instance, the custom step type and implementing class must be defined in /BTI/TE_RE_STEPT
