Defining Custom Tabs

ActiveControl includes a capability to add Custom Tabs on a Business Task or Transport Form level.

This can be useful for customers that want to add a large number of custom fields within ActiveControl to track additional information, but don’t want them all to appear on the General tab as it would result in lots of vertical scrolling.

Custom tabs are visible on the Business Task and Transport Form screens in the ActiveControl Windows GUI and Web UI and also in the SAP GUI.

Configuration Steps

Custom Tabs can be created via the [Custom Tab] section of the Fields tab in the ActiveControl Windows GUI configuration screen. After creating the new custom tab, custom fields can then be assigned to the custom tab via new tab dropdown. If left blank, the custom field will appear on the ‘General’ tab by default.

*If you decide that a custom tab is no longer needed as part of your process, you can only delete the tab and/or the custom fields. It is not possible to hide the custom tab.
