8.9. Audit Policy

Each January, diplomates in year 3 of their recertification cycle who have been inactive to date will be informed/reminded of the current ABO policy that verification of CME is required every two years. Those who have not complied proactively by July 1 will be given until the end of the year to provide documentation of CME for years 1 and 2 of their certification cycle.

The requirements of Continuing Certification state that you must attest to participating in an average of 50 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ every two years, including 16 credits of self-assessment.
