Configure a master beacon

Before being deployed on field, a master beacon has its default configuration. It can be setup via the corridor installer application.

First, put the tablet in hotspot mode by clicking the wifi icon (red means off / white means on)

Once the master beacon will automaticaly connect to the maintenance hotspot, it will appear in the list with an IP address :

Click on the ip address, the tablet web browser will open and the master beacon configuration page will be displayed :

Enter the following informations :

• Device hostname
• Organization (url address will be provided)
• primary wifi SSID and password if the master beacon is not connected via ethernet
• Ethernet subnet mask and gateway if the master beacon is connected via ethernet

Submit the configuration and the master beacon will reboot. The master beacon is now configurated.
