OTA Updates

The OTA update is necessary for updating the operating system to the latest version of our Android. This updating needs to be done during the initial setup of the device in case you have not purchased pre-installation or sometimes a regular software update can be pushed out at a later time, to update the Android on your Yetitablet.

1. Power the Yetitablet on
   
2. Establish a network connection (Wi-Fi) from the upper right corner or in the settings.
   
3. Turn the Yetitablet off via the red power button
4. Once the Yetitablet is powered on again it should connect automatically to the Wi-Fi and after some time the following dialogue box should pop up. Please repeat the previous two steps in case it does not remember the network connection.
5. Select “YES” to upgrade the found OTA update.
   
6. Once the OTA update is completed successfully, please select “YES” in the dialogue box. Your Yetitablet is now updated to our latest Android.
   

!Please note that it can happen that your organization’s firewall blocks the popup of the OTA update. In that case please connect the Yetitablet to the hotspot of a smartphone in step 2.
