!Please note that the language of the settings menu is predominantly in English.
Accessing the language settings
- Go to the Android settings by swiping from the top down.
- From the appearing notifications menu, press the cogwheel icon
to open up the settings.
- Scroll down and select the section “Languages & input”.
- Press the section “Languages”.
!The language chosen in the Android settings influences the language of many applications.
Adding new languages to your selection
- When in the languages section (please see steps above), click on + Add a language
- Search the preferred language either by scrolling down or via clicking on the magnifying glasses in the top right corner and typing the name of the language you are looking for.
- Click on the language that you want to add.
- If the language is spoken in various countries there may be a selection of countries to choose from. Click on the country of residence.
- The new language is now added to your language choices. New languages appear at the bottom of the list. If you want to change the device language to the new language please move it to the top of the list via long pressing the 4 (four) lines at the end of the row and sliding the language to the top.
!Please note that the device will be in the language that has been chosen as number 1 (one) on your list.
Changing between languages
- Go to the language section in the Android settings (see above)
- From your list of added languages, move the one to the top of the list that you want to change to. This can be done via long pressing the 4 (four) lines at the end of the row and sliding the language to the top.
