These Logs are created when you complete an activity for the contact. Or, you can manually create Logs to record other important information about the contact.
Completed Activity Logs
When you complete an activity from the Dashboard, the contact record or from any of the calendar views a Log entry is automatically created. Completing activities with an Outcome allows you to an additional notes to the Log before it is saved.
- From the contact record tap Upcoming and swipe right to reveal the options for completing an activity. A short swipe reveals the icon to complete the activity and a long swipe reveals the icon to complete the activity with an outcome.
- Add an Outcome by typing it manually or use the associated picklist to add an entry.
- The information from the Regarding field on the activity is added to the Log automatically. Tap Done and the Outcome and any additional notes you added are included in the Log entry. Tap to Log entry to see the expanded view.
Manually Entered Logs
- From the Logs section tap the + to add a new Log. Tap the toggle to add the Log as a completed activity or a simple log entry. Tap Done and your log entry is now on the contact record.
