General Communication

  • Use as many points of interaction as possible to inform guests and ensure the sharing of information
  • Download and display posters in high visibility areas in your setting to promote messages about how to stay safe during the COVID-19 pandemic; visual communication templates are also available from the Government of Canada
  • In communications with vendors, extend the same courtesy as you would to patron (event professionals, caterers, restaurants, planners, etc.); this will help foster trust in your venue’s operations and COVID-19 safety protocols
  • Create a Frequently Asked Questions document and/or webpage for visitors and promote in all your communications and outreach activities including all social media channels
