OVV, or Online Veteran Verification, is a function that checks that a Patients Given Name, Surname, Date of Birth, Gender, Veteran Number & Residential Address is correct.
Find your patient record by going to the Main Menu, clicking the Patients tile, finding your patient then double-clicking to open the patient record.
On the patient screen you will see an OVV button near the middle of screen. Note that the OVV button will only be enabled if you have invoked Online Claiming in Branch Setup.
Click the OVV button and Optomate Touch will connect to Service Australia, passing up the patients details above and it will return the current valid details for that patient. You will then be prompted to update the patient record in Optomate Touch if any information differs.
