If you are upgrading your Mekorma Invoice Capture solution from an earlier version, follow the Upgrading Invoice Capture instructions.

Before you import the Mekorma Invoice Capture solution, you must create the following 4 components:

  • SQL Server Connector
  • Office 365 Outlook Connector
  • OneDrive for Business Connector
  • Microsoft Dataverse Connector

Creating a SQL Server Connector

If you are using Mekorma Power Approvals, there is already a SQL Server Connector that you can use. In this case, you can share the connector to the Invoice Capture service account. See the Sharing the SQL Connector topic for information about how to do this. Once the SQL Connector is shared, you can skip this section.

If you are NOT using Mekorma Power Approvals or you want to create a new connector specifically for Invoice Capture, follow the instructions below.

  1. Open a browser (Edge or Chrome) in private mode and go to https://make.powerapps.com.
  1. Log in with the service account user for Invoice Capture (e.g., svc_invoice@mycompany.com).
  1. Go to Dataverse > Connections.
  1. Click + New connection.
  1. Click SQL Server.
  1. For Authentication type, select SQL Server Authentication.
  1. Enter the SQL server name, which is the name of your server machine with the SQL instance name.
  1. Enter the name of the Dynamics GP system SQL database name. This is typically DYNAMICS.
  1. Scroll down within in the window and enter the username and password. This is the SQL Proxy user created before starting this process.
  1. Choose the data gateway created prior to starting this process.
  1. Click Create to finalize your SQL Server Connector.
