OmniMarkz Open in Quark

Open in Quark attempts to open the currently viewed file in the default version of QuarkXPress on your system. If this version of Quark cannot be found (it must be loaded and be able to run on your computer for this to work) , then OmniMarkz will check to see if you have QXP 2018 or later is set as the Default Version of Quark on your computer – if true, then an IDML of the file will then be created and sent to the default version of QuarkXPress on your system. Otherwise, you will see an error message that this operation cannot be completed and has failed.

!In order for this to work you must be using QuarkXPress 2018 or later. OmniMarkz does not convert QXP 2018 and later files to run on pre-QXP 2018 versions of Quark. (A few examples, you cannot convert a Quark 9 file to open in Quark 7, nor can you convert a Quark 2020 file to open in Quark 9, but you can convert a Quark 2020 file to open in Quark 2018 as long as Quark 2018 has the import IDML XTension present. The XTension is provided by Quark. )
