If video in Orchid Fusion VMS is unavailable or degraded, you may be experiencing packet loss in one of several locations:
- Between the camera and Orchid Core VMS
- Between Orchid Core VMS and the viewing client
- Between Orchid Core VMS and Orchid Fusion VMS
- Between Orchid Fusion VMS and the viewing client
There are several methods for checking for packet loss. The diagram below indicates which check methods (noted in black) are available to test the different connections when the system is running in Proxy Mode or Non-Proxy Mode.
