4.3. Upper School (Gr 7-8)

Curricular:

Gr 7-8 students may choose vocal or instrumental music or visual art for their fine arts class. The music students further develop their skills and musicianship through performance opportunities.

Curricular Enrichment:

String and band classes meet in sectional groups which provides specialized instruction in addition to their full ensemble classes. Many of our students participate in visual art competitions and musicians participate in solo and ensemble competitions. We periodically bring in professional artists and musicians to enrich our students’ experience. Our students regularly share their artistic skills and gifts through community outreach performances.
