Prior to adding programs for your specific client…

  • Make sure that your child’s name is in the system (See Adding New Child to System under the Program Library System tab)
  • Make sure that you have found the program that you are interested in using in the Program Library (See Program Library Overview, Categories of Teaching
  • It is very helpful if you find the Program Library names for all the programs you want to enter in one session so that you are not flipping back and forth between the Library and the Specific Client Program tabs
    ====================================================================================================================
  • Click on the Specific Client Program (SCP) link. If this is the first time that you are setting up a program for your child, click on Add new item at the bottom of the screen that is displayed.

  • This will bring up the following screen.

  • Now, using the drop-down for the Client Name, select the child for whom you are entering programs. Use the drop-down for the Domain level field and select the Domain that corresponds to the program you are want to add. In our previous example, shoe tying was part of the Independent Living Skills Domain, so in the example below, this Domain level has been selected. Use the drop-down for the Program Library Name, select the name of the specific program. In the example, the program name is Shoe Tying. As soon as you select the program from the library, the system will populate any fields that were pre-entered in the Program Library. Remember, you can change any of these fields as you move through the remaining fields.
  • Finally, type in a Specific Name for your client program using the following format: first name, last initial, name of program. In the example below this format becomes Dan D shoe tying.

  • Save – at the top of the Add New Item screen is a checkbox labeled Save Progress. You are encouraged to check this box when you are first setting up your programs. Checking the box means that any entries that you make will be saved, even though the entire SCP has not yet been completed. Programs with the check for Save Progress will not appear on the iPad. Once you have completed the entire SCP, uncheck the box, hit Save, and the program will become available to be seen on the iPad. *
    • Minimum requirements for saving a program include:
      • Client Name
      • Domain Level
      • Program Library Name
      • Specific Client Program Name
