Whereas, regarding Church Wide Assembly 2025, Synod Vice President Nancy Weeks wrote “we were blessed to have the guidance of Bishop Riegel and to see him in action serving the WV-WMD Synod with grace and integrity.” Therefore, be it

Resolved, That the 2026 WV-WMD Synod Assembly commend Bishop Matthew Riegel for his service to the Assembly, at which he represented both himself and the WV-WMD Synod well.
