If there is no travel, then the preboard PA is not required and the HR Partner can execute the initial appointment PA without additional steps.

1. The staff member completes offline form(s) and submits to the HR Partner.

2. The HR Partner reviews form(s) submitted by the staff member and if completed correctly, executes the related personnel action in the system.

3. HR Partner executes an Initial Appointment PA in ECC inputting and saving the proper information into each infotype.

4. If applicable, the HR Partner requests any movement related entitlements that the staff member may be due through the portal (i.e. DSA, lump-sum payment, relocation grant).
