For former staff members separated prior to Umoja deployment (i.e., separated in IMIS, the pre-cursor to Umoja), or who need to travel upon reappointment.
Staff members who were separated in IMIS (whose records may or may not have been uploaded to Umoja) will not have a Preboard PA in their Umoja history and will be missing infotype 0017 (Travel Privileges), the infotype needed for travel. In these cases, a Preboard PA must be completed prior to the execution of the Reappointment PA. Please refer to the Preboard procedures chapter of this job aid. If the Staff Member is travelling with a spouse and/or children, they would also need to be added as household members for preboard purposes.
