The HR partner must verify the original birth certificates for the staff member and eligible dependants upon reporting to duty. Children cannot be established as dependants without the verification of an original birth certificate and may require additional documentation depending on the staff member’s personal status (i.e. divorced Staff Members who are not the custodial parent must provide proof of support satisfactory to the Organization). Copies of the verified original must be maintained in the OSF.
