Applicants are asked if they have ever committed, been investigated for, been prosecuted for, had a finding against them, or been convicted of an offence for, engaging in sexual exploitation and/or abuse and if so, to provide details. There may be recommended candidates who are staff members of the UN system organizations who have been pardoned or acquitted, or have a case pending or in other status. Other applicants may only reach this stage of the staff selection process if they have been pardoned or acquitted.
